Samen met de fotograaf heb ik een fotoshoot voor hip-hop artist REIGNO georganiseerd, waarbij ik gebruik maakte van een grote kunststof plaat om in de ruimte te tekenen. Normaal gesproken bewerk je foto’s naderhand, maar we wilde proberen de sfeer waar de artiest naar zocht al meteen tijdens het fotograferen te creëren en de foto een soort van te editten terwijl we de fotoshoot deden.
Ik tekende wolken en regenstormen gebaseerd op aziatische kunst, en gebruikte lyrics uit zijn nieuwste muziek.
The photographer and I organised a photoshoot for hip-hop artist REIGNO. I used a giant plastic sheet to draw in the space around us. Usually I would edit and draw over photos digitally after the fact, but this time we wanted to change it up and create what we and the artist were looking for during the shoot itself, and edit the picture in real life, so to speak.
I drew clouds and rainstorms inspired by asian art styles, and used lyrics from REIGNO’s latest music.
